Job Title: Tax Engagement Specialist

The role of a Tax Engagement Support Associate is a key position within our team, providing support to client-serving professionals in completing various activities related to the client service lifecycle.

About the Role

You will be working closely with our client-serving professionals to deliver high-quality services, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to the positive experience of our clients. Your expertise will be utilized to manage and complete large volumes of activities efficiently, including opportunity and engagement creation, billing, and collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and complete large volumes of activities related to client service lifecycle (e.g., opportunity and engagement creation, billing, and collections)
  • Identify any obvious process deficiencies/issues and proactively collaborate with relevant team members to resolve any issues that arise
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure consistent and timely activity output
  • Communicate status updates as needed to advance service delivery
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the service line and the engagement, EY's structure, key personnel, and EY's policies/procedures
  • Assist and complete ad-hoc requests without disrupting your work

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Arabic & English)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Able to address all relevant information/data and develop practical approaches to answering problems
  • Creative and curious approach to tackling complex challenges, leveraging internal tools and resources to achieve favorable results
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision and collaboratively with virtual teams
  • Able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, including multi-location coordination
  • Meet tight deadlines while performing fine-quality work and diligent follow-up
  • Able to summarize and conclude activities, applying appropriate documentation standards and lessons learned
  • Able to protect confidential and proprietary information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
