Automation Lead Position

Lead automation projects to drive technical excellence and shape the future of automation.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in control and automation to spearhead international projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and technical experts to design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art control and automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and growth.
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Design, configure, integrate, and implement process control solutions for various industries.
  • Conduct regular reviews, assessments, and quality checks to ensure system integrity and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation project timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various plants, processes, and/or equipment.
  • Develop User Requirement Specifications.
  • Develop software and hardware design specifications.
  • Design, write, implement, test, and document PLC, DCS, and HMI software.
  • Develop control system validation/testing protocols.
  • Specify and purchase process instrumentation.
  • Specify and purchase PLCs, DCSs, drives, and other electrical components and equipment.
  • Develop electrical and control panel schematics.
  • Develop scope of supply documents.
  • Assist with estimates of man-hours required to complete projects.
  • Install, test, and start-up control systems on-site.
  • Train operators and engineers on control systems.
