Procurement Role
The Procurement Director will be responsible for developing and implementing internal procurement strategies to meet high delivery requirements and tight lead times. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and selecting suppliers to ensure optimal commercial and delivery terms
- Evaluating vendors' quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial specifications
- Advising on purchasing terms and conditions, both internally and externally
- Managing daily operational purchasing needs, including planning, issuing, and following up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, and shipment timetables
- Resolving supply chain issues, such as quality, service, and invoicing problems with vendors
- Evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery times, prices, and other criteria
- Preparing data and reports to support purchase strategies and cost reduction analysis
- Implementing internal procurement strategies to meet high delivery requirements and tight lead times
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will have advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.). Detail-oriented individuals who can multitask in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines are preferred.
