Are you a native or bilingual Urdu speaker looking to make a meaningful impact in Bible translation projects?
We invite you to collaborate with our team as we work to translate an English training manual into Urdu, enabling the deaf and deaf-blind to access Scripture immediately.
This project involves translating SUN (Symbolic Universal Notation), a symbol-based writing system that holds great potential for inclusive ministry.
Responsibilities include:
- Translate the English training manual into Urdu with precision and clarity.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Urdu is essential.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, are necessary.
- Access to a reliable computer and internet connection is required.
- Commitment to approximately 10 to 12 hours of service per week is expected.
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a remote project that may span several months. Your involvement will help bring the Gospel to those who need it most – the blind and deaf community.
