Compliance Manager Role

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee compliance with rules and regulations in the procurement department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to PPRA Rules & Regulations and SSGCL policies within the procurement framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular compliance assessments of procurement processes, activities, and documentation to ensure adherence to PPRA rules and SSGCL policies.
  2. Review procurement records, contracts, and related documents to identify potential compliance risks.
  3. Develop and implement effective compliance monitoring mechanisms, including audits and reviews.
  4. Collaborate with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and ensure corrective actions.
  5. Monitor compliance metrics and report on compliance status.
  6. Train procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  7. Stay updated on changes in PPRA rules and SSGCL policies and communicate updates to the team.
  8. Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and prepare compliance reports.
  9. Promote ethical standards and conduct within procurement activities.
  10. Collaborate with auditors during compliance audits and reviews.
  11. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  12. Participate in risk management frameworks and activities.

The ideal candidate should possess an MBA from a recognized institution, with at least 4 years of experience in supply chain management. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent is an added advantage. Experience with PPRA rules and regulations is mandatory.
