Lab Supervisor Position Summary

The role of a Lab Supervisor is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory activities and adherence to safety protocols. This position plays a vital part in developing and implementing laboratory procedures and protocols, training and mentoring students and staff on laboratory techniques and procedures, and collaborating with faculty members to design and conduct research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise laboratory operations and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students and staff on laboratory practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and execute research projects.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory supervision or equivalent.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English language required.
