Financial Career Starter

This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment. As a trainee accountant, you will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, audit, and accounting principles.

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Record financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
  • Perform bank reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
  • Support audit teams by gathering documentation and performing basic audit procedures.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing invoices and assist in processing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Organize and maintain client records and documentation.
  • Learn and apply accounting standards like GAAP and IFRS under guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and respond to feedback.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as printing reports and compiling files.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Actively pursuing CA/ACCA/ACMA certification.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
