Job Title: 3D Animation Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced 3D animation specialist to join our team. As a key member of our animation department, you will be responsible for bringing characters and environments to life in a cinematic style.

Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality animations that enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers. You will work closely with 3D artists, leads, and the animation supervisor to ensure that client requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animate realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
  • Animate creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages, or descriptions.
  • Create scene layouts using a library of assets.
  • Compose and animate cameras in a cinematic style.
  • Work under guidance of senior 3D artists to grow and develop the business, implement working methodologies, manage large projects, and coordinate visual effects output and quality control.
  • Collaborate with lead animators to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
  • Stay up-to-date with animation principles and best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience in game development animating characters using Maya/Flash/Spine or equivalent 3D or 2D program.
  • Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be applied to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers.
  • Skill in one or more related disciplines: modeling, rigging, or technical art.
  • Self-motivation, great communication skills, and team player attitude.
Experience

We are looking for mid-senior level candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in 3D animation. Previous experience in FX and particle animation is a plus.
