Backend Software Engineer Role

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled software engineer with strong expertise in SAP Hybris and Spring Boot to join our team. This is an onsite role in DHA Phase 4, requiring the ability to work in an evening shift (5 PM – 2 AM). The ideal candidate will have experience developing, enhancing and maintaining backend applications using Java, SAP Hybris Commerce (B2B/B2C), and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance and maintain backend applications using Java, SAP Hybris Commerce (B2B/B2C), and Spring Boot.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Integrate backend systems with third-party tools and platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve backend issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutions on time.
  • Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews and ensure performance optimization.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in backend Java development.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Hybris Commerce (B2B/B2C).
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices and REST APIs.
  • Proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate).
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evening shift environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
