Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers, resolving discrepancies in a prompt manner.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and internal controls, maintaining a high level of transparency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing historical and trend analysis, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist with audit preparation, ensuring a smooth process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency in Intuit Enterprise accounting software and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience with US Taxation laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience working with mid-to-large-sized corporations.
