Data Engineer Role Description

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data pipelines, as well as ensuring data quality and availability.

Main Responsibilities

  3. Clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources.">
  4. Work with large datasets to ensure high data quality and availability.">
  5. Develop and maintain ETL workflows using industry-standard tools and scripting languages.">
  6. Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.">
  7. Optimize data workflow performance for speed and efficiency.">
  8. Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.">
  9. Implement relational database schemas and indexing strategies.">
  10. Evaluate and improve data integrity, security, and compliance within SQL Server environments.">
  11. Collaborate with MongoDB for storing and querying unstructured or semi-structured data.">
  12. Design document-based data models and manage performance tuning for MongoDB.">
  13. Establish and maintain data backup and replication strategies.">
  14. Analyze complex data requirements and develop efficient technical solutions.">
  15. Address data-related issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve problems efficiently.">
  16. Engage with data analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.">
  17. Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and cross-functional discussions.">
  18. Assume ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate attention to detail.">
  19. Demonstrate a proactive approach to delivering solutions and contributing to team goals.">
  20. Offer recommendations for process improvements based on industry best practices.">

About the Ideal Candidate

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2–3 years of experience in data engineering or database development roles.
