Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Director to lead our end-to-end supply chain function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain leadership, with a strong understanding of international trade and logistics operations. You will oversee demand forecasting, material planning, and production scheduling to ensure timely availability of resources and delivery of finished goods.

You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality, timely procurement of materials while optimizing sourcing costs. Additionally, you will supervise warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock accuracy through effective systems and audits to minimize losses and ensure traceability.

You will also optimize logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery and improved customer service levels. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for import/export, safety, and documentation in all supply chain activities.

You will lead, train, and motivate the supply chain team to foster ownership, accountability, and high performance across all areas. You will drive the adoption and optimization of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for procurement, inventory, and logistics reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including international trade.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/Power BI reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
