Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Detection: Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the digital ecosystem.
  • Security Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and standards across the organization.
  • Incident Response: Swiftly respond to and mitigate security breaches or attacks, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure systems remain secure.
  • Compliance Assurance: Verify that security practices meet regulatory and legal requirements, maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity.
  • Employee Training: Provide ongoing security training for staff to reduce human errors and enhance overall security posture.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security issues, breaches, and resolutions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Security Tools and Software: Utilize advanced security tools and software for monitoring and analysis, staying ahead of emerging threats.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems, with expertise in securing complex networks.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and IT governance standards, including NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with risk management practices and threat assessment tools, enabling effective identification and mitigation of potential threats.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security matters to non-technical stakeholders.
