
Grants and Finance Operations Manager

This role involves managing all aspects of the Finance department within the Field Office, including supervision of staff, implementing finance policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with IRC and donor requirements. The successful candidate will provide support to the Deputy Director Community Mobilization on Small Grants Project management and participate in periodic financial monitoring of sub-grantees and implementing partners.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance department within the Field Office.
- Supervise Finance Officer and Grants Officer.
- Implement finance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IRC and donor requirements.
Financial Management
The incumbent will review payment documents for proper back-up, monitor HMCs to ensure proper utilization of IRC funds, and maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with agreements and small grants manual. Additionally, they will provide guidance to sub-grantees and implementing partners in interpreting IRC and donor policies.
- Masters degree in Accounting/Finance or CA (Part Qualified).
- Advanced Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting packages such as SUN system.
