**Post-Trade Operations Support Specialist: Hedge Fund Trading Platform**

 

We are seeking an experienced Post-Trade Operations Support Specialist to provide critical post-trade operational support to hedge fund clients using our trading platform. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trade and portfolio data through daily reconciliation and exception management.

 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience from middle office or product control roles within a financial institution and thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Trade and Balance Reconciliations: Perform daily trade and balance reconciliations between internal trading systems and client Portfolio Management Systems (PMS).
  • Analysis and Validation: Analyze and validate daily P&L reports, identifying and resolving misbookings or anomalies.
  • Reconciliation Break Resolution: Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks by booking adjustments in the PMS (e.g., missed trades, misclassifications).
  • Collaboration with Client Trading Desks: Collaborate with client trading desks to manage post-trade operational workflows, ensuring timely and accurate updates to portfolio data.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in reconciliation and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Middle Office Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, or Product Control roles at a financial institution.
  • Trade Lifecycle Management: Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliation processes, and portfolio management systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and liaise confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA (any level) or ACCA are a strong plus.
