Key Responsibilities

  1. To meet the annual targets assigned by the Head of Department, focusing on delivering excellent educational outcomes for students.
  2. Develop and maintain a high-quality teaching and learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  3. Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in accordance with faculty workload policy.
  4. Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum content, ensuring it remains relevant and effective.
  5. Design and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning experiences.
  6. Support the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills among students.
  7. Provide guidance and support to students through supervision of projects, field trips, and placements.
  8. Evaluate and provide feedback on student work and examinations.
  9. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
  10. Mentor students in their academic and professional development.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues to update data in VLE and other required software.
  12. Foster a culture of Islamic and ethical values within the teaching environment.
  13. Engage with departmental and university committees to shape policies and initiatives.
  14. Align teaching content and methods with the institution's mission and values.
  15. Address issues related to staff and student well-being.
  16. Monitor and enforce attendance policies among students.
  17. Publish research findings in reputable journals and disseminate knowledge through various channels.
  18. Pursue opportunities for practical application of research findings.
  19. Lead research projects and supervise the work of others.
  20. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
