Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure and development pipeline, you will play a vital role in strengthening the security and resilience of our cloud environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an expert in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) and proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

You will be responsible for leading team training sessions to elevate security knowledge and build awareness around secure coding and DevSecOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Develop and enforce security controls within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring code integrity, and enhancing security practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, secure configuration reviews, and incident response activities.
  • Partner with developers to ensure that DevSecOps best practices are applied, including secure coding standards, compliance controls, and identity and access management (IAM).
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of cloud security and automation is required, especially AWS and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform) is essential.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is necessary.
