Job Description:

The IT Audit Manager – System Security Expert will lead the evaluation and assessment of our organization’s IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance, data integrity, and security. This role involves operational audit of functional departments within the mortgage finance industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and assess IT systems, processes, and controls for compliance, data integrity, and security.
  2. Conduct operational audits of functional departments within the mortgage finance company.
  3. Develop a comprehensive IT audit plan in collaboration with senior management and the internal audit team.
  4. Perform detailed assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify risks and detect control deficiencies.
  5. Communicate potential risks associated with IT systems and processes to stakeholders.
  6. Develop recommendations to address control deficiencies and improve IT processes.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  8. Collaborate with IT and business unit leaders to understand their needs and concerns.
  9. Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports documenting findings, recommendations, and management action plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Audit, Computer Science, or related field from a reputable institution.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Familiarity with auditing widely used server, platform, database, and end-point technologies.
  • Understanding of IT Governance and IT Risk Management concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in audit software, data analytics, and Microsoft Office suite.
