Web Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop and enhance both the front-end and back-end of our WordPress website, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage WordPress cloud hosting and follow best practices for UX and website & data security.
  • Develop the corporate website using custom WP plugins, modules, and themes. Ensure compatibility across environments and resolve conflicts with themes and plugins.
  • Manage UI (User Interface) & UX (User Experience) design and development activities.
  • Develop user interfaces using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI frameworks like Bootstrap.
  • Lead the definition of excellent UX throughout the product lifecycle, from initial exploration to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers to support UI & UX implementation efforts.
  • Perform root cause analysis and outline corrective actions for technical issues.
  • Conduct website performance tests, monitor live website performance, and troubleshoot errors.
  • Experience with A/B testing landing pages and websites to optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure high standards of usability, consistency, and clarity in UI design across platforms such as desktops, smartphones, tablets, and large screens.
  • Innovate to create better experiences for web and mobile users.
  • Utilize tools like Git/GitLab, NPM, and debuggers effectively in the development process.
  • Coordinate with team members on projects.
  • Assist the application support team with Level III support, investigating issues and implementing code fixes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in web UI/UX design & development, with proficiency in Photoshop, HTML, CSS3, jQuery, and responsive frameworks like Foundation and Bootstrap, and experience with CMS systems.
  • Expertise as a WordPress developer, familiar with latest trends and standards.
  • 3-4+ years of hands-on experience in web development, configuration, and management of WordPress websites.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and UI/UX design sense for developing top-tier web interfaces.
  • Proficiency in PHP programming.
  • Experience with WordPress Action/Filter Hooks and the WordPress REST API.
