Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Recording: You will be responsible for recording financial transactions accurately, ensuring all entries are complete and error-free.
  • Bank Reconciliation: The ideal candidate should be able to perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Bills and Invoices: Responsibilities include recording bills and invoices, and ensuring they are processed on time. Additionally, the candidate should maintain a record of outstanding customer invoices and vendor bills.
  • General Journal Entries: We require someone who can enter general journal entries as needed to capture any financial transactions that do not fit into the standard categories.
  • Vendor and Customer Statements: The ideal candidate should be able to reconcile vendor and customer statements to ensure that our records align with external statements, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Month-End Accruals: Able to record month-end accruals accurately to reflect outstanding expenses or revenues for the period, ensuring our financial statements are up-to-date.
  • Payroll Transactions: The candidate should assist in recording and processing payroll transactions.
  • Prepaid Expense Schedules: Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining prepaid expense schedules to accurately reflect the prepaid expenses on the balance sheet.
  • Fixed Assets Register: Maintain an up-to-date fixed assets register, tracking the value and depreciation of the tangible assets.
  • Inventory Records: Reconcile inventory records with physical counts and make necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory valuations.
  • Tax Compliance: Generate 1099 data for review

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting preferably with US clients.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Communication: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Certifications: CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Schedule: Flexible schedule required
