Job Summary

The role of a Child Development Program Specialist is to promote holistic child development by enhancing physical, cognitive, social, and emotional abilities of children in early childhood. This period lays the foundation for all future learning, development, and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review existing ECD material/resources/literature to inform training programs and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Conduct training of trainers, FGDs, and IDIs in the community to assess needs and improve service delivery.
  • Monitor and supervise cascade trainings to ensure quality delivery and program impact.
  • Provide facilitation for a capacity-building program in Sindh to develop local expertise.
  • Collaborate with UNICEF ECD centers to gather feedback and improve services.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in project management, preferably in diverse settings.
  • Expertise in record-keeping, report writing, and MS Office proficiency to support data-driven decision making.
  • Strong communication skills in English, Urdu, and other local languages to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team-building skills to lead and manage teams effectively.
