Job Description

The Senior Finance Director will lead a team of professionals in the Accounts and Finance Department to ensure optimal utilization of their maximum potential.

They will prepare forecasts, projections, and annual operational and capital budget in collaboration with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of all future requirements.

The role involves managing, coordinating, and monitoring all accounting and financial activities, ensuring proper bookkeeping, maintaining accounting records, and preparing financial statements/reports within given schedules and as per accounting standards.

The Senior Finance Director will provide Company's financial information to authorized bodies and persons, including Board of Directors, as and when required. They will interpret Company's financial information and develop, maintain, and implement adequate and effective internal controls to ensure that company funds are invested or expended properly and pass statutory and governmental audits.

Monitoring cash flows and predicting future trends is crucial to ensure that the Company is well prepared for all eventualities and has adequate and timely cash flow to meet its needs. The Senior Finance Director will regularly evaluate and exploit cost reduction and fund investment opportunities for the Company.

Staying informed on changes in applicable financial rules and regulations is essential, and they will report any issues to the Board of Management. Analyzing the financial environment and conducting research on various factors affecting business performance will enable them to advise the Board of Management accordingly.

Key responsibilities include managing payroll of employees, managing banking transactions of the Company, managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, etc., and investigating cost-effective fringe benefit plans to attract and retain qualified existing and potential employees.

Ensuring timely and accurate filing of returns and statements required under tax laws is critical. Coordination with other bodies/departments, internal and external auditors to ensure efficient handling of the Company's financial, corporate, and tax matters is also essential.
