Nursing Team Leader

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Manager to lead our ward/unit team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and manage staff effectively, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- To organize and oversee the administrative work of the ward/unit, including managing staff nurses and paramedical staff.
- To coordinate with different departments and consultants to ensure quality nursing care is provided to patients.
- To arrange rotas, staffing, and scheduling of staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, including checking special assignment checklists, nurses' documentation, and pending orders.
- To observe dress code and overall nursing issues, and resolve any problems that may arise.
- To manage unit par levels (medical & surgical) and crash carts, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
- To arrange clinical rounds in their units and conduct environment checks, identifying any potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- To monitor attendance and report any absences to the office of the MNS.
- To manage indents and procure ward supplies and drugs, ensuring that all necessary items are available.
- To maintain daily patient census of the ward and report any critically ill patients to the Nursing Manager.
- To implement healthcare quality and patient safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff adhere to these guidelines.
