Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role will involve analyzing financial variances, collaborating with the accounting team, and reviewing operations to identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and exceptions.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review operations to identify areas for productivity improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Communicate financial results and insights to management, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Work closely with business teams to automate reconciliation and recording processes.
  • Prepare and support daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports.
  • Conduct data analytics for performance deep dives.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to improve understanding of company performance.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools (Tableau, SQL, Google Sheets) to generate insights that drive performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as B.Com, BBA, or BSc.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in finance and accounting with a focus on data analytics.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and scripting languages such as Python.
  • An inclination towards automating manual tasks and improving efficiency.
  • The ability to solve complex financial problems and extract insights.
  • An understanding of business and financial performance drivers.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
