Senior Accounting Professional
Job OverviewThis is a senior-level accounting position that requires expertise in financial operations, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities- Oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare management reports.
- Evaluate compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office/Excel applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ethical conduct and confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3 years of experience in a similar role in the accounting industry is essential.
