Job Title: Development Fundraising Specialist

A highly motivated and results-driven Development Fundraising Specialist is required to spearhead sponsorship acquisition and fundraising efforts for a lacrosse federation. This role comes with a performance-based compensation structure, where earnings are directly tied to funds raised.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorship Acquisition Strategy: Identify, approach, and secure sponsors for lacrosse events, training programs, and international competitions through effective relationship building and negotiation.
  2. Fundraising Campaign Development: Design and implement comprehensive fundraising campaigns that align with the federation's goals and objectives.
  3. Proposal Creation: Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that showcase the value of partnership opportunities.
  4. Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers to ensure sponsor needs are met, resulting in successful and impactful events.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on fundraising activities, providing regular updates on campaign progress and suggesting areas for improvement.
  6. Network Expansion: Establish a network of potential sponsors and partners, fostering strong relationships that drive growth and revenue.
  7. Compliance Management: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in fundraising or sales, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
  2. A well-established network of corporate contacts and partnerships.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders.
  4. The capacity to create persuasive and compelling proposals that meet sponsor needs and exceed expectations.

Compensation Structure:
