Software Engineer (Web Development)

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in web development to excel in our high-impact projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web-based applications on premium service platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative, state-of-the-art web applications utilizing PHP and collaborating with the User Experience (UX) team.
  • Maintain all applications using standard development tools and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
  • Communicate effectively with task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, technical issues, and process-related problems.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with co-developers and keep the project manager informed of the status of development efforts and serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience in PHP programming and 4-5 years of experience as a Laravel developer.
  • Experience with Lumen Microservices framework is desired.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design.
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
  • MySQL profiling and query optimization.
  • Creative and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Angular JS & React native is a plus.
Preferred Qualities:
  • Excellent knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST services).
  • Knowledge of version control systems like GIT (mandatory).
  • Ability to work with business leaders to define, develop, and execute scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Participation in agile scrum meetings, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
