Telecom Revenue Analyst Position

Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that revenue-related transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue processes and be able to analyze financial results and identify trends and variances.
Main Responsibilities:- Revenue Recording: Recording monthly revenues from Site Sharing, Interconnect, Roaming, Fixed line, etc. in Oracle.
- Scheduling: Maintaining schedules relating to each revenue stream.
- Data Coordination: Coordinating with different internal departments to obtain data related to monthly revenues.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with SOX controls including documentation and reporting.
- Reporting: Preparing revenue dashboard reporting for review of higher management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification: CA / CA Inter / ACCA with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of working experience including Telecom Industry and Revenue Accounting role.
- Technical Skills: Oracle Financials.
- International Accounting Standards: Sound knowledge of relevant International Accounting Standards (IFRS).
- Financial Presentation: Experience of presenting financial results, variance analysis and handling of large quantum of data.
- Revenue Recording: Understanding of revenue recording & closing process.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
