Job Overview

This is a leadership role that oversees the planning, inspection, and maintenance of civil infrastructure on campus.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure the smooth operation of facilities and maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising technical staff, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating maintenance and repair works, alterations, renovations, and minor construction projects.
  • Managing inventory, equipment, and assets, and conducting regular appraisals.
  • Overseeing the delivery of planned, reactive, regular, and emergency maintenance and support activities across the main campus and outreach facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Providing training and continuing education for department employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and monitoring staff performance and initiatives for improvement.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.
