Job Overview:

The role of a Content Writer is to create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience. As a Senior Technical Content Writer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing all forms of content, including blog posts, articles, press releases, product descriptions, social media posts, and website content.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
  2. Conceptualize and develop all short- and long-form content, such as blogs, articles, press releases, product descriptions, social media posts, and website content.
  3. Independently gather inputs from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write technical articles, success stories, business stories, thought leadership articles, etc.
  4. Coordinate with SEO, designers, and leaders within and outside the department to create and deliver high-quality content artifacts.
  5. Evolve content presentations or writing strategies and adapt them to new situations (fireside chats, podcasts, webinars, etc.).
  6. Write and optimize SEO-focused content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital platforms.
  7. Create and execute an SEO-driven content/editorial calendar.
  8. Editing and proofread for grammar, clarity, and brand tone.
  9. Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
  10. Creating compelling headlines and body copy that capture the attention of the target audience.
  11. Conducting content audits to recommend changes/enhancements to address gaps in the company's current content and align with customer pain points and expectations.
  12. Staying updated with Google algorithm updates, E-E-A-T guidelines, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills without relying on AI assistance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A portfolio of published articles.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Minimum experience required: 5 years in technical content writing for an IT/engineering company.
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and working on ad-hoc requests.
  • Keen to read, watch, and learn about new technologies.
  • Well-versed in B2B content marketing, brand communications, and SEO-driven content.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
