Ecommerce Application Specialist

As a senior ecommerce application specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance ecommerce platforms using Laravel and Vue.js.

About the Role:

  • Design and build scalable ecommerce applications utilizing the Laravel framework and Vue.js.
  • Ensure seamless integration between front-end components and back-end systems.
  • Customize ecommerce platforms to meet specific client requirements and optimize for speed and performance.
  • Develop secure payment gateways and implement data protection measures to safeguard customer information.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver a cohesive online shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in ecommerce, Laravel, and Vue.js.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in the Laravel PHP framework.
  • Solid experience with Vue.js for building dynamic user interfaces.
  • Experience with popular ecommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and their integration with custom-built systems.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, including payment gateways, shipping providers, and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases, with experience in database design and optimization.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles to collaborate with designers effectively.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for ecommerce sites.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting ecommerce solutions.
  • Experience with integrating and customizing payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, or others.
