Senior Finance Officer

A senior finance professional is needed to join a rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash balances, dealing with banks for routine operational matters, and maintaining banking relationships for all day-to-day banking activities.

The successful candidate will also be required to perform bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis, monitor banking activities to detect irregularities, and provide advice on financial matters impacting the company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cash Management: Manage daily cash balances, deal with banks for routine operational matters, and maintain banking relationships for all day-to-day banking activities.
  2. Bank Reconciliation: Perform procedures pertaining to Bank Reconciliations and ensure Bank Reconciliation is performed on a weekly and monthly basis.
  3. Monitoring and Control: Monitor all banking activities in order to detect irregularities and provide advice on financial matters impacting the company as a whole.
  4. Team Collaboration: Liaison with other departments and business units on a range of issues, adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all financial activities, and assist team members in day-to-day financial operations.

  2. Ability to identify errors.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills with G/L analytical skills.
  4. Ability to multi-task and meet tight timelines.
  5. Ability to lead and influence.
  6. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
Requirements:

5+ years of experience in core accounting and finance functions including hands-on experience in preparing multiple bank reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting required.
