Job Title: Painter

About This Role

This is a contract position for an experienced and skilled painter. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of painting techniques and materials, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing painting projects to the highest standards, including interior and exterior work on various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and furniture.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer
  2. Select appropriate paint and materials for each project
  3. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
  4. Ensure neatness and accuracy in all painting tasks
  5. Clean up after each project
  6. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  7. Work efficiently to complete projects within given timeframes
  8. Adhere to safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a painter
  • Knowledge of different types of paints and materials used in painting
  • Familiarity with various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, furniture, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
  • Physical stamina for manual labor over extended periods
