Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our team. As a full-stack WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom WordPress plugins and themes. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create responsive, high-quality, and scalable solutions that meet our business needs.

Your role will encompass both back-end and front-end development, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of WordPress websites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plugin Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
    • Ensure plugins are secure, efficient, and compatible with the latest WordPress versions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve plugin-related issues.
    • Collaborate with the team to integrate third-party APIs and services into plugins.
  • Theme Development:
    • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes.
    • Implement responsive design principles to ensure themes work across various devices.
    • Optimize themes for speed and performance.
    • Ensure themes adhere to SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Full Stack Development:
    • Develop and implement custom functionality using WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.
    • Collaborate with designers to translate PSDs or wireframes into functional WordPress themes and plugins.
    • Integrate WordPress with other systems and platforms as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of themes and plugins.
    • Implement automated testing where applicable.
  • Maintenance and Updates:
    • Regularly update themes and plugins to comply with WordPress core updates.
    • Monitor and optimize website performance.
    • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing WordPress installations.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with the design, marketing, and content teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms and web technologies.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
