We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as Head of Contracts and Corporate Governance. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in shaping our company's legal direction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Governance: Assist in managing corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder resolutions, and corporate filings.
  • Contract Review & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, such as commercial agreements, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial services regulations, data protection laws, and industry-specific rules. Support the team in responding to regulatory inquiries and audits.
  • M&A & Investments: Assist in due diligence and legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and investment transactions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and advise on potential legal risks, liabilities, and exposures associated with our operations, products, and services.
  • Litigation Support: Provide support in dispute resolution, including managing external counsel and developing strategies to address legal challenges.
  • Advisory Support: Offer day-to-day legal advice to business teams on various issues, such as product development, marketing, intellectual property, and customer agreements.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • LLB/LLM or Relevant Degree: You should hold a law degree or a relevant qualification.
  • 2-4 Years of Experience: You should have at least 2-4 years of experience in the banking industry.
  • Prior Banking Experience: Prior banking experience is mandatory for this role.
