Job Title: Fabric Inspector – Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fabric inspector to join our team in ensuring the highest quality standards for knitted fabrics. As a Fabric Inspector, you will conduct thorough inspections of knitted fabrics, identifying defects or inconsistencies, and delivering comprehensive reports to senior management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in knitting processes and fabric types, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth inspections of knitted fabrics for quality, consistency, and defects.
  • Verify compliance with design specifications, yarn quality, gauge, GSM, color, and finishing standards.
  • Communicate directly with production teams to understand their processes and resolve concerns.
  • Take photographs and measurements where needed to support evaluations.
  • Prepare clear, structured, and accurate fabric inspection reports for senior management.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and defect prevention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fabric inspection, preferably in a knitting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of circular knitting machines, yarn types, fabric structures, and finishing.
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports and using inspection checklists.
  • Familiarity with textile quality control systems and standards.
  • Ability to use basic tools for GSM, colorfastness, and shrinkage testing.
