WordPress Web Engineer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress engineer to develop and customize high-performance websites.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Custom Website Development: Utilize expertise in WordPress development to create custom themes and plugins for clients.
  2. Optimization and Security: Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of websites for optimal user experience.
  3. Collaboration and Design: Work closely with designers and other developers to create visually appealing and functional websites.
  4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to resolve any technical issues.
  5. Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging web technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  6. Media Management and Design: Resize and redesign images, banners, and logos for websites using PhotoShop to maintain brand consistency.
  7. eCommerce Development: Update WooCommerce products or related data entry work on various frameworks like Wix, Joomla, Opencart, or custom frameworks.
  8. Content Updates and Maintenance: Update or add content on the websites to keep information current and engaging.

Job Specifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  2. WordPress Experience: Extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
  3. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of website performance optimization, SEO, and web analytics.
  4. Design and Development Expertise: Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
  5. Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. eCommerce Expertise: Experience with WooCommerce and other related eCommerce plugins and platforms is preferred.
