As a premier higher education institution, we are seeking a dynamic leader to head the Jinnah School of Public Policy and Leadership.

  • The position will play a foundational role in institution-building—setting academic direction, leading faculty recruitment, building national and international partnerships, and ensuring impact-oriented teaching, research, and policy engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the establishment and growth of the school.
  • Design and implement rigorous academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in governance and public policy.
  • Operationalize practitioner courses / certifications / training modules for continuous professional education and mid and senior leadership training.
  • Introduce innovative pedagogical practices including simulations, policy labs, and field-based research.
  • Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance in line with international standards.
  • Cultivate partnerships with government agencies, legislative bodies, international development organizations, private sector entities, and academic institutions.
  • Lead efforts in securing external funding, grants, and philanthropic support for school development and research.
  • Serve as the chief advocate and spokesperson for the school within our organization and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, program accreditation requirements, and strategic reporting.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant social science discipline from a reputable institute.
  • At least 15 years of relevant academic, research, and leadership experience, grounded in higher education.
  • A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable journals with a significant impact factor.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles, such as Dean, Director, or Chairperson.
  • Proven ability to design and lead academic programs and institutional partnerships.
