About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated Principal Business Analyst to lead and oversee the business analysis process, including gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical solutions. They will produce high-quality documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and workflow diagrams.

As a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Principal Business Analyst will ensure clear communication and understanding. They will also lead process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include conducting impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed solutions, managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Additionally, they will mentor junior business analysts and contribute to their professional development.

Required qualifications include 8+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping is essential. Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools is also required.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role. The ability to work independently and in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment is also crucial.

Preferred qualifications include experience in fintech, stock trading, or similar industries. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, ERP systems, and CRM tools is desirable. Background in business process modeling and tools (e.g., BPMN) is also preferred.
