Deputy Manager Audit Position

As a key member of our audit team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out periodic audits at various branches to verify compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct cash reconciliations for petty cash accounts and SVC revenue to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Verify physical stock levels against Oracle software records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Review dealer credit balances and outstanding balances to ensure timely payments and minimize risks.
  • Visit dealers across Punjab and KPK provinces to reconcile company outstanding balances with their records and verify invoices, payments, and discounts.
  • Verify post-dated cheques (PDCs) and security cheques with dealers' outstanding balances to prevent unauthorized transactions.
  • Perform service center audits to ensure compliance with procedures, SVC revenue as per company policy, and parts reconciliation.
  • Verify physical fixed assets against company records to prevent asset misappropriation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, rules, and guidelines related to sales, service centers, and branch operations.
  • Identify weaknesses in internal control systems and recommend improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Submit comprehensive audit reports to the Manager Internal Audit with evidence obtained during the audit.
  • Visit corporate clients to reconcile company outstanding balances with their records and perform any other special assignments given by management.
Requirements

A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with proven external auditing experience is essential for this role.

You should have led and managed an audit/accounts team to deliver high-quality assurance services and demonstrate personal qualities and credibility to lead, develop, and motivate individuals and teams.

A thorough understanding of systems and risk-based auditing is required to excel in this position.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
