We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team and help us develop innovative solutions that scale our existing data offerings and establish the technical strategy for how we can better equip engineers and leaders with Data Platform. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and leading engineers in constructing highly available enterprise tooling to support engineering teams in developing data-intensive products.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand changing requirements and incorporate them into the roadmap.

  • Drive the vision for our big data platform.

  • Build a deep understanding of our digital streaming services and use that knowledge, coupled with your engineering, infrastructure, data, and cloud knowledge, to optimize and evolve how we understand our technical ecosystem.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology.

  • 10+ years of experience working with web applications and microservices.

  • Excellent knowledge of web application architecture, experience with design and architecture of high-performance distributed systems a plus.

  • Experience with operations for in-production systems.

  • Good understanding of algorithm and data structures.

  • Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing SQL, Python, Java, Go etc.

  • Some experience with AWS with knowledge of S3, EC2, IAM, Security, Lambda, Networking etc.

  • Familiarity with gen AI tech stack (LLMs, Vector Databases etc.) is a plus.
