Senior Software Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled senior software architect to lead the development of high-quality web applications. This role requires hands-on expertise with modern web technologies, including cloud-native solutions using AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, architecting, and implementing scalable solutions. They will lead by example in technical excellence, mentor the team, establish processes, and contribute to organizational growth.

  • Develop and implement end-to-end development strategies for high-quality web applications, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Design and build cloud-native solutions using AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS.
  • Define, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and web architectures.
  • Oversee code quality and conduct peer reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and set growth objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Establish efficient development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source code management.
  • Drive Agile adoption across the team and refine workflows for better efficiency.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and organizational skills are required. Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Node.js, with experience in MongoDB and PostgreSQL is a must. Additionally, exposure to OWASP security principles, understanding of UX and design principles, and knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) are highly valued.
