Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and accomplish assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in application testing and release verification, including testing, defect reporting, and post-fix bugs verification.
  • Develop domain knowledge documents, internal training materials, and other relevant resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the SDLC.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with software testing types and quality assurance activities and techniques.
  • Knowledge of process models, such as ISO 9001:2000 or CMMI, is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with automated testing and defect tracking tools is also desirable.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server or any other RDBMS and SQL language.
  • Good understanding of the SDLC and QA's role and participation in all phases of the SDLC.
  • Able to communicate effectively with objectivity and have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
