Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
About the RoleThis contract role involves working from home and may be extended beyond six months.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to design cloud solutions, focusing on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), while interacting closely with other technical teams.
- Evaluate client requirements to propose cost-effective cloud solutions, utilizing native cloud products.
- Migrate workloads to the cloud, deploy Landing Zones, and implement Disaster Recovery using cloud services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies, assessing their potential for integration or adoption.
- Hands-on experience in planning, development, migration, and integration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service services.
- Understanding of cloud service structures and core features.
- Familiarity with application modernization, including containerization, APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, PowerShell scripting, automation tools, Ansible, etc.).
- Previous exposure to Pre-Sales activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud computing and experience working with multiple cloud providers.
