**Restaurant Manager Job Summary:**

  • This is a leadership position that oversees the daily operations of an outlet or restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage departments, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within hotel properties. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing staff, inventory, health and safety regulations, and customer service. This includes overseeing the proper use and upkeep of tools, equipment, and devices, analyzing guest requirements to resolve customer care issues, and monitoring cleanliness and sanitation standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with departmental policies and standard service procedures.
  2. Supervise the proper use and upkeep of tools, equipment, and devices.
  3. Analyze guest requirements to resolve customer care issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  4. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation standards for all organizational projects.
  5. Investigate design and service improvements, providing necessary materials and devices for better service.
  6. Assist room service staff to operate efficiently and provide excellent facilities to guests.
  7. Monitor phone calls to the room service department to ensure timely responses.
  8. Ensure systematic order-taking procedures from visitors, complying with departmental regulations and standards.
  9. Oversee bar setup, buffet/reception tables, and coffee break processes, and initiate enhancements.
  10. Coordinate with departments to ensure staff setup and supplies meet standards.
  11. Maintain documentation and adhere to departmental standards.
  12. Review and analyze food and beverage pricing, menus, and quality to maintain company goodwill.
  13. Inspect food and beverage preparation programs.
  14. Uphold professional appearance by wearing the uniform with pride.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications:**

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant certification.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage departments, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role within hotel properties.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to speak the local language(s).
