Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned financial leader to spearhead our growing real estate division's financial strategies and operations.

About the Role

  • A qualified accountant with experience in one of the Big Four accounting firms (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is required.
  • No less than 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financing, investment analysis, and market dynamics is essential.
  • Experience with REIT schemes or IPOs is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of implementing financial strategies to drive growth is mandatory.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills are expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, board members, and investors to deliver clear financial insights for decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
  • Ensure financial statement audits meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead capital allocation, fundraising, and investment decisions to maximize returns.
  • Manage investment portfolios, including partnerships, joint ventures, and other investments.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks to protect company assets and ensure sustainability.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and corporate governance practices.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls, processes, procedures, and SOPs in line with industry best practices.
  • Mentor and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
