The Cloud Sales Representative role involves driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud services, pricing models, and cloud computing fundamentals. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote AWS solutions and services.
- Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients to understand their cloud requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and AWS representatives.
- Provide AWS solution recommendations based on customer needs and business challenges.
- Work closely with technical teams to create tailored proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS product offerings, market trends, and competitor strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, pre-sales, and customer success) to optimize sales processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud sales, or IT solutions sales.
- Understanding of cloud services, pricing models, and cloud computing fundamentals.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value for customers.
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) will be a plus.
