Role Summary:

This Software Quality Assurance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve bugs and improve software quality, adhering to best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing to validate software quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that software meets business and technical requirements, including compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify, report, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution and prevent reoccurrence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in software testing, with expertise in manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Cypress.
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
