The Citizens Foundation is hiring an experienced Teacher Development Program Coordinator to support the operationalization of Teacher Professional Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement training programs, coaching initiatives, motivation strategies, and recognition programs as part of the Teacher Professional Development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to design learning paths and digital content for various school levels and teacher career stages.
  • Liaise with Donor Management Teams to develop grant proposals.
  • Pilot test and evaluate the Learning Management System (LMS) for Teacher Professional Development, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors to develop and implement the LMS, defining requirements and timelines for its development and deployment.
  • Establish a work plan for the phased rollout of the LMS and other elements of the Teacher Professional Development framework.
  • Develop criteria for selecting regions, areas, schools, and teachers for LMS pilot testing.
  • Collaborate with subject specialists to create high-quality content for the LMS.
  • Ensure that all content meets the required standards by coordinating with the Academics' team.
  • Partner with the Technology for Education team and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of LMS components.
  • Design and execute comprehensive training programs for LMS users.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the LMS at the school level and facilitate its effective adoption.
  • Develop a monitoring and evaluation framework for the pilots, conducting regular assessments and documenting findings in reports with actionable recommendations.
