Regional Financial Operations Manager

As a key member of the regional team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our operations. This includes managing financial information, preparing reports, and implementing accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and implement accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Accounting Procedures: Develop, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting procedures to ensure efficient and accurate financial management.
  • Vendor Sourcing and Analysis: Source and analyze vendor quotations regarding supplies and services.
  • Budgeting and Expense Control: Prepare and review budgets, expense invoices, and other financial documents to ensure effective financial management.
  • Bookkeeping and Bank Reconciliation: Maintain proper bookkeeping of regional bank accounts, cash books, and advances to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Timely Advances Closing: Ensure timely closing of advances related to regions, areas, and schools to prevent delays and inaccuracies.
  • Expenditure Trends and Budget Levels: Analyze expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels to ensure effective financial management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Financial Management Experience: Have experience managing financials/accounting/reporting of a medium-sized entity.
  • Bank Account Management: Having experience managing bank accounts, dealing with banks, and bank reconciliation.
  • Communication Skills: Having experience dealing with a wide range of individuals.
  • Procurement and Vendor Payments: Have experience of procurement/vendor payments and their review/approval.
  • SOPs Development: Have experience of SOPs development/continues improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Accounting Software: Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
